14 May 2017 - Emmanuel Macron became the President of France. 17 November 2018 - The first week of the protests: People blocked highroads of French cities. 282-290 thousand people participated to demonstrations across the country. 1 one of them died becase of car hit and 227 people injured 18 November 2018 - PM Philippe: "The government won’t bow to protesters and roll back gasoline levies...We didn’t impose fuel taxes for the pleasure of annoying the French, but because we want to tax carbon more than labor." 4 December 2018 - The Prime Minister Philippe announced a six-month suspension of a fuel tax rise. 10 December 2018 - Macron said that minimum wage will be raised. 11 Aralık 2018 - the Finance Minister: "Measures will cost £10 billion which were declared by the President.
